Leonardo
Leonardo
The production of Leonardo da Vinci (Vinci Florence 1452 - Amboise France 1519) is very varied because the Tuscan genius dealt with all branches of human knowledge. For this reason Leonardo filled thousands of pages of notes and drawings, some of such exceptional quality as to have become true icons of art history such as the Self-Portrait or the Vitruvian Man. He also created several paintings destined to become a true heritage of humanity. This volume presents a selection of Leonardo's most important and best-known works both in the field of painting and in the field of drawing. Each work is accompanied by a short in-depth text that describes its most important characteristics and tells its story. ENGLISH EDITION
