Refund policy

RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL

1 The User who is a consumer has the right to withdraw from the contract for the purchase of the Product without having to provide any reason and without having to incur costs other than those provided for in Articles 10.4 and 10.6 below, within 14 calendar days and after notifying Giunti Editore of the intention to withdraw. The Withdrawal Period expires 14 days after the day on which the User or a third party other than the carrier and designated by the User, acquires physical possession of the Product. The withdrawal applies to the Order in its entirety and cannot, therefore, be exercised in relation to individual parts and/or accessories of the same.

2 To exercise the right of withdrawal, you can contact customer service by email cenacolovinciano@giunti.it indicating the following information: number of the order (s) you wish to exercise the right of withdrawal, your address. The burden of proof on the correct exercise of the right of withdrawal lies with the User.

3 In the event of returns due to errors or second thoughts, the User shall return the Product to Giunti Editore, at their own expense, using a carrier of their choice, without undue delay and in any case within 14 days of the notice of withdrawal. The Product, properly packaged, must be shipped to the address and in the manner that will be provided to the User through customer service. The direct costs of returning the Products to Giunti Editore shall be borne by the User. Returns sent in a manner other than those indicated by email from customer support will not be accepted.

4 Giunti Editore will proceed with the refund of the amount due without undue delay and in any case no later than 10 days from the day on which it received the goods and verified that the conditions of the same comply with the reasons indicated at the time of withdrawal. The refund will be made using the same payment method used by the User for the initial transaction, unless the User has expressly agreed otherwise. In any case, the User shall not incur any additional costs as a result of such reimbursement.

5 The User is responsible for the decrease in the value of the goods resulting from handling the Product. The Product must be kept and inspected with normal diligence and returned intact, complete in all its parts. Otherwise, the refund of damaged products will not be made.

6 In the event that the withdrawal has not been exercised in accordance with the provisions of the applicable legislation, it will result in the termination of the contract and, consequently, will not give the right to any refund.

7 The right of withdrawal is excluded for all the cases referred to in Article 59 of the Consumer Code and, in particular, the following categories of Products: custom-made or personalized products; sealed products that cannot be returned for reasons of hygiene or health protection that have been opened after delivery (e.g.  cosmetic products); products that are likely to deteriorate or expire rapidly; sealed audio or video recordings (e.g., a DVD or music CD). The supply of audio or video recordings from which the SIAE sticker has been removed is considered open.

REFUNDS

In the event that the User, as a consumer, avails himself of the right to terminate the purchase contract and the payment of the total amount due has already been made, Giunti Editore will make the refund as soon as possible. The amount of the refund will be communicated to the User by e-mail. This amount will be credited to the same means of payment used by the User for the purchase. Any delays in crediting may depend on the bank, the type of credit card or the payment solution used.
