The Cenacolo of Santa Maria delle Grazie in Milan is one of the most visited Leonardian places in the world. The ancient monks' refectory hosts on one of its walls the Last Supper painted by Leonardo da Vinci in 1494-1498, an absolute masterpiece of the Renaissance. This book presents this work and this place as never before. Years of study and a skilful use of new 3D restitution technologies have allowed the author to re-propose this work, taking us through the centuries and vicissitudes of the painting to the point of showing it to us "as it was", reconstructing its colors, taking us "inside" the particular technique of its execution showing us the table of the Supper and its protagonists from the most different angles restoring the original decoration of the real and painted environments in some way to see it with the eyes and mind of its creator.
