War machines

Leonardo considered war madness, however he devoted himself for a long time to the study and design of weapons and war machines: natural for those like him who found themselves in the service of powerful lords for whom war could guarantee their survival or determine their decline. Leonardo designed mainly firearms but also others of a more traditional type: however, all of them present extraordinary and innovative characteristics which once again testify to the greatness of their brilliant creator.
